Change

It is inevitable. It holds great power, to shift or turn inside out one's world or the entire world itself. A change in perspective will both take away and put weight of significance on the value of things that may have once been all that mattered to one, or barely considered by one. Sometimes, change can be as simple as the seasons from the humid heated summer to the bitingly chilly winter. It could be as simple as a girl's change of clothing from her cream nightgown to a sparkling black dress. But when people change, or our perspective of a person changes, there's so many more strings attached. If it is for the better, the change can brighten up one's world and give them vitality, joy, and hope. If the change is disappointing, it could bruise, scar, break, or lockup one's heart. I would not ever wish that people wouldn't change, but I do wish they'd remain strong held to their true qualities. As a lover would say to the other, "please don't ever change," I long that people would not disappear like the wind, no longer caring for people they once had, because they decided to change. I wish our priorities wouldn't constantly shift like a tempestuous weather, because when it comes to relationships and people, the change does more damage than simply pain.

Easier said than done, but keep getting back up when you're pushed to the floor because it's worth it.

Old&New things in life

It's the last day of the year, and I'm making a small list to mark my standing.

Old:
-waiting.
-forgotten.
-unanswered questions.
-unfinished things.
-feeling of being disconnected
-procrastination
-16 and other people from my past
-Missing you

New:
-running
-early mornings
-long walks in the cold
-blogging

As the author

Since childhood I've dreamed of being a writer who's voice is a source of encouragement, inspiration, eye-opening, familiarity, and friend. This is another step I'm taking to bring myself closer to grasping the dream in reality. There are countless blogs out there, and countless worlds and voices spoken and unspoken of. If you've stumbled upon this blog, I don't know how long you'll stick around, but hi lovely person and thank you for dropping by.
